Pump specialist company Ecochem and mining equipment supplier Becker Engineering South Africa have teamed up to supply a range of split-casing, rubber-lined slurry pumps within a short lead time of two to three months, says Ecochem MD Ed Lemke.
“The new range of slurry pumps complements Becker’s existing products offering and will help to supply products to the mining industry more quickly. Some mines have to wait 12 months for certain replacements and we want to decrease that,” says Becker Engineering MD Rick Jacobs.
Ecochem Pumps will import the pumps from China, and Becker will supply the pumps to the mines through its established network of branches. READ MORE>>>

Local pump supplier Ecochem Pumps has added a new range of reagent dosing pumps to its already extensive range of Milton Roy equipment. The new Primeroyal range of industrial dosing pumps is designed around the concept of a variable eccentric mechanism, for which the patent is still pending. Ecochem MD Ed Lemke says the new range includes five new models which are oil-bath lubricated in a sealed crankcase, and have hydraulically actuated diaphragm liquid end assemblies.READ MORE>>>
